Collection based on the selection of unique plots due to their characteristics and exceptional conditions and vinified individually respecting the concept of the plot from which they come. The first vintage of this wine was made in collaboration with the prestigious Santa Barbara winemaker Joey Tensley. Cherry red colour. Aroma of ripe red fruits with floral tones and wild herbs. On the palate, ripe fruit, smooth, long-lasting tannins, full of flavour, varietal typical of the garnacha, in an elegant version bursting with personality.
Vineyards
Old, 65-year-old bush vines, of the Garnacha (87.8%), Cariñena (8.4%) and Macabeo 3.8% varieties, located on plot 81, coordinates 41°19'58.6"N 1°08'41.9"W, in the area of Calares, in Tosos, at an altitude of 687 meters, with a surface area of 1.27 ha.
Elaboration
The vinification of the fruit of this exceptional plot has been carried out individually and by hand, in open oak barrels and pumped over by hand to maximize the essence of the terroir to which it belongs and its expressiveness. And its aging has been 8 months in French oak barrels.
